Offering the most luxurious accommodation in the Sipadan area, Mabul Water Bungalows comprises just 15 spacious, air-conditioned wooden chalets built on stilts over the water. The chalets have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar and an in-room safe. The wide balconies offer panoramic views over the sea and out towards Sipadan. Each bungalow is exquisitely furnished with contemporary décor. Facilities include a large and airy restaurant, a souvenir shop selling a variety of t-shirts, accessories and gifts, and a business centre with internet facilities. A health spa and an underwater photography centre are also available for use. The Ka’andaman Spa offers a variety of treatments including various massages and exfoliation techniques as well as facials and aromatherapy.
Treasure Images, the on-site photographic studio will help you get the best out of your underwater photography. The staff can help you with the your shooting techniques and composition should you wish. The video pro is on hand to make you your own personal record of the trip so you can enjoy the experience again and again from your own home! Underwater cameras are available for rent subject to availability. Stays can be of any length. Prices below relate to a stay of 7 nights.
Price from about $2620 for 7 nights. Includes: road/boat transfers between Tawau and Mabul; 7 nights full board accommodation (breakfast, lunch and dinner), including tea, coffee and some soft drinks, on a twin/share basis at Mabul Water Bungalows; 6 days of diving (3 boat dives daily, dive guide; additional unlimited shore dives‚ in front of the resort including night dives).
In addition, a Sipadan Marine Park diving permit (currently MYR40, about $12, per day dived at Sipadan) is payable locally. Permits are currently issued the previous day and are subject to a quota, so may not be available every day.
Reduction for non-divers.
Single Occupancy Supplement: 50% of the applicable diver package price.
