WAOW
The WAOW (Abyss World)
Waow is a fabulous 58 metre schooner built entirely from wood, in the purest tradition of Indonesian boat building. She is one of the most beautiful three mast vessels cruising the amazing waters of the Indonesian Archipelago. Waow has been conceived to navigate under sail whenever possible to further reduce her impact on our fragile environment. The hull and superstructure are constructed of Iron Wood, whilst the finishing is in teak and other local woods to create a tropical spirit and feel. WAOW has 9 cabins available catering for a maximum of 18 passengers looked after by 16 crew and two dive guides. (The daybed in each cabin can also be used for a third person per cabin, or for twin share purposes. With this charter configuration, WAOW can have a larger capacity of 27 passengers). 6 Deluxe cabins each of approximately 23square metres are located below the main deck. 2 Superior cabins of approximately 21 square metres are located at the rear of the main deck, and are the same size as the standard cabins but with an aft deck area including lounging and dining area. 1 Master cabin of approximately 45 square metres is located at the rear of the upper deck. This cabin has a spacious sundeck furnished for private use. All of the cabins have private bathrooms with shower, separate WC and air conditioning, desk, entertainment system and LED lighting. Each cabin is dedicated to an artist (Gauguin, Miro, Klimt, Kandinsky for example) and decorated based on this theme.
The lounge area is equipped with a television and DVD/CD player whilst the full service bar offers non-alcoholic beverages along with wine, beer and spirits. For the sun lovers there is a sundeck on the foredeck as well as above the wheelhouse whilst the shaded main deck features loungers, tables and showers. A massage service is available.
There is a dedicated camera room with charging stations and a computer. Wifi internet access is available though a download limit is in place. Diving is conducted from three tenders. Nitrox is available.
